I had a fantastic experience at Woodside Dental. I found Dr. Mahmoodian by googling cosmetic dentistry in the Santa Monica area after chipping my front tooth on a trip to visit my parents. I was in a panic to get this fixed since I really despise that chipped tooth look in pictures! The office took me immediately on a Friday morning. She gave me her opinion regarding the best way to fix the tooth most cosmetically, as well as discussion related to preventing further damage to my teeth from grinding (a long term problem for me), and the use of an appliance. Ive had one of these in the past, hated it and eventually threw it away. The information I received was straightforward, clear, aimed at prevention, and the beauty of my teeth. Dr. Mahmoodian came across as caring and efficient in her assessment. I immediately trusted her opinion because it made sense and correlated to what I had already known.

I chose to have the Zoom whitening because once the chip was fixed, the color of the composite would never change if it were matched to my current unwhitened color. I have very sensitive gums to whitening agents, and had only great results. No white areas after the process, so my gums were carefully covered. Anna, the dental hygienist was meticulous, and heard my concerns and was preemptive in meeting them.
I have only good things to say about Anna who was very professional and made you feel as if she's known you for a long time.
Pam the receptionist was amazing. Professional and thorough in checking insurance coverage, as well as extremely pleasant. I have no problem recommending this office. I received very good dental care, and am very pleased.

On top of this I was given an early Monday morning appointment to fix the chip (needed to wait 48 hours after the Zoom treatment), since I needed to drive back home. And was also given the appointment time to do composite on five areas where I had root exposure. No other dentist had suggested this to me, ever. And now my teeth are not as sensitive as before. The dental work, and the cosmetic work were excellent.

Finally, no one believes me when I tell them my front tooth was chipped, not even my husband
